Create Penguin with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a round-bellied penguin figure in black and white seed beads, with rosy pink cheeks, a golden scarf wrapped in wire and warm agate-toned beads, and a sparkling clear-bead belly.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 8 colors, Crystal Art beads in 7 colors (7 sizes), gimp (3 pieces), felt in 1 color, fastener, and a needle (cardboard backing, beading thread, and glue are needed but sold separately). Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, then mounting the piece onto cardboard for structure. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 4.5x6 cm (1.77x2.36 in). A charming beadwork project and a cheerful handmade gift for a penguin lover or a child's winter-themed accessory.
