Bead-embroider Ladybug with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a rounded red beetle shape built from faceted red and black beads for its shell and spots, finished with black wire antennae and jointed wire legs for a realistic silhouette.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 11 colors (9 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 2 colors (2 sizes), gimp, rhinestone chain, felt, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine. Backing cardboard, beading thread, and glue for mounting are sold separately.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color pattern and stitching each bead onto the backing in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead. Once the beadwork is complete, mount it onto stiff backing cardboard (purchased separately), attach the wire legs and antennae as shown in the instructions, and add the fastener to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5.5 x 5.5 cm (2.17 x 2.17 in). A fun beadwork project and a charming garden-themed brooch for insect and nature lovers.
