Bead-embroider Hearts with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — two overlapping heart shapes in red and gold faceted beads, with open loop cutouts at the top for a layered, dimensional silhouette.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instructions, color scheme, Preciosa Ornela beads (Czech Republic) in 8 colors (6 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 2 colors (2 sizes), rhinestone, gimp, rhinestone chain, felt in 1 color, a clasp, and a needle. Made in Ukraine. Backing cardboard, beading thread, and glue for mounting are sold separately.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead and rhinestone onto the backing in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine piece by piece. Once the beadwork is complete, mount it onto stiff backing cardboard (purchased separately) and attach the clasp to wear or gift.

Finished size: 6 x 4.2 cm (2.36 x 1.65 in). A romantic beadwork project and a handmade gift for anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or any heartfelt occasion.

    Shipping was excellent and arrived quickly. Nice quality. This was my first bead embroidery project. It took me a bit to understand instructions, but figured it out. Fun! I will be ordering again :)
