Bead-embroider Owl with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a round-eyed owl face in warm browns and gold, with yellow floss-embroidered eye rings, black bead pupils, a banded agate-toned wing accent, and a soft pearl-cluster underbelly.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instructions, color scheme, Preciosa Ornela beads (Czech Republic) in 9 colors (4 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 6 colors (5 sizes), floss, gimp, rhinestone chain, sequins, felt in 1 color, clasp, and a needle (cardboard backing, beading thread, and glue are needed but sold separately). Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, with floss stitched around the eyes for a soft contrast, then mounting the piece onto cardboard for structure. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5.5x3.5 cm (2.17x1.38 in). A charming beadwork project and a distinctive handmade gift for an owl or woodland-animal lover.
