Create Raccoon with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a seated raccoon figure in charcoal, gray, and white beads and pearls, with round silver-rimmed eyes, a pale muzzle, and a curled tail finished in the same masked coloring.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instructions, color scheme, Preciosa Ornela beads (Czech Republic) in 13 colors (9 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 3 colors (3 sizes), floss, gimp, felt in 1 color, clasp, and a needle (cardboard backing, beading thread, and glue are needed but sold separately). Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, then mounting the piece onto cardboard for a firm base. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5.5x5.5 cm (2.17x2.17 in). A fun beadwork project and an endearing handmade gift for a raccoon or woodland-animal lover.
