Felt Cat-glutton with this Charivna Mit needle felting kit — a gray tabby cat sitting up, paws wrapped around a white felted fish bone, its face marked with a dark nose and rounded white cheeks.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instructions, color scheme, New Zealand style Ashford wool in 3 colors, and felting tips (2 pieces). Made in Ukraine.

Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — body, head, and paws, then the fish bone accent — following the included instructions, adding the facial details once the base shape is felted.

Finished size: 6 x 8 cm (2.36 x 3.15 in). A quick, pocket-sized 3D project and a fun handmade gift for a cat lover.
