Felt Funny Koala with this Charivna Mit needle felting kit — the finished figure sits back on its haunches, one arm cradling a two-tone green eucalyptus leaf, its oversized fuzzy ears and soft grey-brown coat framing a rounded black nose and dark bead eyes.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: color pattern, instruction chart, Corriedale wool in 8 colors, felting needles (2 pieces), Preciosa beads, wire, and a pipe cleaner. Made in Ukraine.

Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — head, ears, body, and paws — following the included instructions, wiring the eucalyptus leaf into the koala's paw and setting the bead eyes once the base shape is felted.

Finished size: 3.94 x 3.35 in (10 x 8.5 cm). A satisfying 3D project and a charming handmade gift or collectible for a koala or animal lover.
