This Easter rooster kit stitches the same vividly colored rooster over patterned eggs, but the finished egg-shaped canvas mounts on a wooden stick instead of a stand, made for planter or garden-style display.

Why this kit: 25 Anchor colors keep the rooster's blue, orange, and red detail crisp; canvas, needle, and thread are all included, ready to pick up and stitch; the stick finish works well tucked into a planter or spring wreath rather than hung on a wall.

Kit includes: Zweigart canvas, needle, Anchor cotton thread wound on an organizer card in 25 colors, and step-by-step instructions. Made in Ukraine.

Counted cross-stitch is worked by following the included instructions and placing each stitch on the marked Zweigart canvas with the indicated Anchor thread color. Work section by section until the design is complete, then set the finished piece on its wooden stick in a pot, planter, or floral arrangement for Easter display.
