The Riverside Reeds Designer Printed AIDA fabric brings a wash of green reeds and golden iris blooms along a still riverbank to Aida 16 canvas — a waterside scene ready for embroidery.

Why this canvas: the pre-printed riverside skips flat white fabric and gives instant color and depth; machine-washable print made in Ukraine keeps its color wash after wash; the reeds and reflections leave the stitcher free to add their own wildlife, boat, or motif over the print.

This canvas includes: Aida 16 fabric with the Riverside Reeds print applied. Thread, needle, and stitch chart are not included, so bring your own materials and design.

Because there is no counted chart, the printed riverside works as a color base — stitch a freeform or your own charted design directly onto the Aida grid, choosing embroidery floss shades that deepen the green reeds and golden iris blooms already printed on the fabric.

Finished size: 40 x 30 cm (15.75 x 11.81 in). A finished Riverside Reeds piece makes a handmade gift or a quick addition to a gallery wall.

    I'm looking forward to using these canvases. I plan to stitch a graphic style cross stitch on this softly color image. I think the contrast will be interesting. Very happy with the purchase and vendor.
