Stitch Castle, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a grey stone castle with pointed towers rises above a thick green forest under a blue sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: Poland has hundreds of castles, including Malbork, the largest brick castle in the world.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 14 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). A classic piece for a history lover.
