Stitch Sunflowers, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a yellow vase of orange and golden sunflowers stands against a bright yellow wall, in the style of the famous painting.

A little stitcher's folklore: Van Gogh painted his series of sunflowers in Arles in 1888 to decorate a room for his friend Gauguin.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 14 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). A bold art piece for a sunny room.
