Stitch Tits on Cherry Blossom, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — two small birds perch on a branch covered in pink cherry blossom against a blue sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Japan, hanami is the custom of picnicking under the cherry blossom each spring.

Why this canvas: you choose the thread, so you can work it in tapestry wool for a traditional look or in cotton floss for a finer finish.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 21 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). A pretty spring piece for a birdwatcher.

Great needlepoint canvas. It\n did not come with yarn. Iwas disapointed but saw, down below that it was stated. Would have been nice if this fact had been near top and obvious. The picture is really nice!
