Stitch Portrait of Emilie Flöge, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a woman with curly auburn hair stands in a long blue gown covered in swirling patterns.

A little stitcher's folklore: Emilie Flöge was a Viennese fashion designer and Klimt's lifelong companion.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Gustav Klimt's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 23 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 40×50 cm (15.7×19.7 in). A famous masterpiece to stitch for your wall.
