Stitch Sunflower, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a single golden sunflower with a rich brown centre fills a blue sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: a single sunflower head is made of hundreds of tiny flowers packed together.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 18 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 15×15 cm (5.9×5.9 in). A sunny piece that brightens any room.
