Stitch Four Seasons Autumn, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a white cottage sits among golden and orange trees beside a wooden fence, with birds flying overhead.

A little stitcher's folklore: many birds fly south for the winter, some travelling thousands of miles.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 19 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.
