Stitch Roses, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — pink and red roses spill from a basket onto a table scattered with petals.

A little stitcher's folklore: Albert Tibulle de Furcy Lavault was a French flower painter who also ran the museum in Saintes.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Albert Tibulle de Furcy Lavault's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 33 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 40×50 cm (15.7×19.7 in). A romantic art piece for a bedroom.
