Stitch The Creation of Adam, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — the hands of God and Adam reach towards each other, their fingers almost touching.

A little stitcher's folklore: Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel ceiling between 1508 and 1512, working on high scaffolding.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Michelangelo's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 14 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 20.5×40 cm (8.1×15.7 in). A famous masterpiece to stitch for your wall.
