Stitch Orava Castle, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — Orava Castle rises from a steep rock above wooded slopes, glowing in a sunset sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: Orava Castle in Slovakia was used as a setting for the 1922 film Nosferatu.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 20 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 50×70 cm (19.7×27.6 in). A dramatic landscape for a history lover.
