Stitch Still Life Pumpkins, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a cut pumpkin sits on a plate beside green grapes and a glass dish of plums.

A little stitcher's folklore: Louis Letsch was a German painter of the late 1800s, known for his fruit still lifes.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Louis Letsch's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 29 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A warm art piece for a kitchen.
