Stitch Giraffes, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a family of giraffes browses beneath flat-topped acacia trees on the African savannah.

A little stitcher's folklore: Wilhelm Kuhnert travelled to East Africa several times to sketch wild animals from life.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Wilhelm Kuhnert's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 22 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A striking art piece for a wildlife lover.
