Stitch Lake Hallstatt, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a deep blue Alpine lake lies between fir trees and rocky mountains under a soft sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: salt has been mined at Hallstatt for thousands of years, and the village gave its name to the Hallstatt culture.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Georg Janny's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 23 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 24×30 cm (9.4×11.8 in). A calm art piece for a living room.
