Stitch Siamese, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a Siamese cat with sapphire-blue eyes and a dark face sits against a teal background.

A little stitcher's folklore: in old Siam, these cats were said to guard temples and royal palaces.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 15 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). An elegant gift for a cat lover.
