Stitch Four Season Summer, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a big leafy tree shades a country lane lined with a wooden fence and red poppies.

A little stitcher's folklore: the longest day of the year falls around 21 June, at the summer solstice.

Why this canvas: you choose the thread, so you can work it in tapestry wool for a traditional look or in cotton floss for a finer finish.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 20 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 18×24 cm (7.1×9.4 in). One of a set of four seasonal country lane canvases.

The picture on the canvas is beautiful - however you will NOT receive a chart for the exact stitches. There are 20 colors in this canvas - pretty tricky to see exactly what color thread to use. Fingers crossed I get it correct!
