Stitch Mandarin Duck, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a colourful mandarin drake with a red beak and orange whiskers shows off against a soft green background.

A little stitcher's folklore: in China, a pair of mandarin ducks is a symbol of faithful love.

Why this canvas: you choose the thread, so you can work it in tapestry wool for a traditional look or in cotton floss for a finer finish.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 20 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 15×15 cm (5.9×5.9 in). A colourful piece for a nature lover.

Super cute and easy to understand, my only minor issue is that the print sizing is a tiny bit off but it doesn't make much of a difference
