Stitch Spring Blossoms, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a woman in blue gathers blossom in a cottage garden full of flowers, with a wheelbarrow and hens nearby.

A little stitcher's folklore: William Stephen Coleman was an English painter who also wrote a popular book on British butterflies.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of William Stephen Coleman's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 79 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 40×70 cm (15.7×27.6 in). A fresh spring art piece for a garden lover.
