Stitch Puppies Drink Water, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — four spotted hound puppies crowd around a bowl of water outside a barn.

A little stitcher's folklore: Otto Eerelman was a Dutch painter, much loved for his dogs and horses.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Otto Eerelman's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 34 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A charming art piece for a dog lover.
