Stitch Still Life with White Teapot, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a white teapot, green grapes, chestnuts, an apple and a dark bottle rest on a wooden ledge.

A little stitcher's folklore: Chardin painted everyday kitchen objects with such quiet care that he became one of France's most loved still-life painters.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 21 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A famous masterpiece to stitch for your wall.
