Stitch Zvolen Castle, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a pale stone castle with corner towers rises above green trees under a bright sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: Zvolen Castle was built in the 14th century as a royal hunting lodge for King Louis the Great.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 15 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A classic landscape for a history lover.
