Stitch Wildflowers, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — red poppies, white daisies and blue cornflowers bloom together in a bright summer bunch.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Poland, bunches of herbs and wild flowers are blessed in church on 15 August.

Why this canvas: the full-colour print shows exactly where each shade goes, so there is no chart to count and you can simply relax and stitch.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A bright floral piece for a sunny room.
