Stitch Spring, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a small wooden bridge crosses a stream through a sunny green meadow, with a stork in the grass.

A little stitcher's folklore: white storks often return to the very same nest year after year.

Why this canvas: it comes from Orchidea, the Polish needlework maker founded in 1985 and known for its classic tapestry designs.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 21 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Work half stitch over the printed colours, matching each area to the colour key, starting with the darkest shades.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A fresh spring landscape for any room.
