Stitch Winter Night, a cross stitch card kit by Orchidea — a blue cottage with lit windows stands in the snow beneath a crescent moon in the oval window of the card.
A little stitcher's folklore: a candle in the window was once said to guide travellers safely home on winter nights.
Why this kit: a small, quick project that turns into a personal greeting card, with everything including the envelope in the box.
Kit includes: Zweigart aida printed with the design, DMC 6-strand cotton floss in 10 colours, a blank card, an envelope, a chart, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. The card mount frames the finished stitching, so no extra frame is needed.
Stitch the design from the centre, then mount the finished piece in the card and add your message.
Finished size: 10.5×15 cm (4.1×5.9 in). A cosy handmade card for Christmas.
