Stitch Snowman, a cross stitch card kit by Orchidea — a snowman in a woolly hat and checked scarf holds his broom under a crescent moon.
A little stitcher's folklore: the song Frosty the Snowman was first recorded in 1950.
Why this kit: a small, quick project that turns into a personal greeting card, with everything including the envelope in the box.
Kit includes: Zweigart aida, DMC 6-strand cotton floss in 20 colours, an embellished blank card, an envelope, a chart, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. The card mount frames the finished stitching, so no extra frame is needed.
Stitch the design from the centre, then mount the finished piece in the card and add your message.
Finished size: 10.5×15 cm (4.1×5.9 in). A playful handmade card for Christmas.
