Stitch Penguin, a cross stitch card kit by Orchidea — a penguin in a red bobble hat and scarf stands on light blue aida with falling snow.
A little stitcher's folklore: some penguins give their chosen mate a pebble as a gift.
Why this kit: a small, quick project that turns into a personal greeting card, with everything including the envelope in the box.
Kit includes: light blue aida, 6-strand cotton floss in 10 colours, a blank card, an envelope, a chart, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. The card mount frames the finished stitching, so no extra frame is needed.
Stitch the design from the centre, then mount the finished piece in the card and add your message.
Finished size: 10.5×15 cm (4.1×5.9 in). A cute handmade card for Christmas.
