Stitch Rooster, a cross stitch card kit by Orchidea — a rooster with glossy green tail feathers stands on green grass.
A little stitcher's folklore: a rooster's ear canal partly closes when it crows, protecting its own hearing.
Why this kit: a small, quick project that turns into a personal greeting card, with everything including the envelope in the box.
Kit includes: light grey aida, 6-strand cotton floss in 13 colours, a blank card, an envelope, a chart, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. The card mount frames the finished stitching, so no extra frame is needed.
Stitch the design from the centre, then mount the finished piece in the card and add your message.
Finished size: 10.5×15 cm (4.1×5.9 in). A cheerful handmade card for a birthday.
