Stitch Houses Bell, a cross stitch kit with plywood frame by Orchidea — a row of snowy houses among fir trees on a grey sky, framed in a bell-shaped plywood frame with a bow.

A little stitcher's folklore: wassailing, going from house to house singing and toasting good health, is an old English Christmas custom.

Why this kit: it comes with its own bell-shaped plywood frame topped with a bow, so the finished stitching is ready to hang on the tree.

Kit includes: a plywood frame, grey 14-count aida, 6-strand cotton floss in 11 colours, a chart, instructions, a needle and backing. Stitch used: cross stitch. The plywood frame is included, so it is ready to hang.

Stitch the design from the centre, then fit the aida into the plywood frame with the backing.

Finished size: 11×14 cm (4.3×5.5 in). A pretty decoration for the Christmas tree.
