Stitch Easter Egg Spring Flowers, a cross stitch kit with plywood frame by Orchidea — scattered pink and red spring flowers, framed in an egg-shaped plywood frame with a bow.

A little stitcher's folklore: Fabergé made 50 imperial Easter eggs for the Russian royal family.

Why this kit: it comes with its own egg-shaped plywood frame topped with a bow, so the finished stitching is ready to hang.

Kit includes: an engraved plywood frame, white 14-count aida, 6-strand cotton floss in 8 colours, a chart, instructions, a needle and backing. Stitch used: cross stitch. The plywood frame is included, so it is ready to hang.

Stitch the design from the centre, then fit the aida into the plywood frame with the backing.

Finished size: 8×13 cm (3.1×5.1 in). A pretty decoration for an Easter tree.
