Stitch Pansies, a stamped cross stitch kit by Orchidea — two purple and yellow pansies among green leaves.
A little stitcher's folklore: the name pansy comes from the French pensée, meaning thought.
Why this kit: the design is printed on the aida, so there is no chart to count, which makes it an ideal first cross stitch.
Kit includes: Zweigart aida printed with the design, Ariadna 6-strand cotton floss in 11 colours, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. A frame is not included.
Stitch over the printed crosses, one colour at a time, starting from the centre of the design.
Finished size: 11×11 cm (4.3×4.3 in). A quick project to frame as a small picture.
