Stitch Easter Rabbits, a plastic canvas cross stitch kit by Orchidea — four grey Easter rabbits carry baskets and painted eggs, one pushing a wheelbarrow.
A little stitcher's folklore: children in Germany once built nests for the Easter hare to fill with eggs.
Why this kit: quick designs on stiff plastic canvas that you can cut out and hang straight away, perfect for decorating or giving.
Kit includes: white plastic canvas, DMC 6-strand cotton floss in 24 colours, a chart, instructions and a needle to make four ornaments. Stitch used: cross stitch. No hoop or frame is needed, as plastic canvas holds its shape.
Stitch each design on the plastic canvas, then trim around the edge and add a loop of thread for hanging.
Each ornament measures about 9×12 cm (3.5×4.7 in). Fun decorations for an Easter tree.
