Christmas Cottage Living Room DIY Miniature House Kit 8 in by Wizardi F07M5-14-8009-A

A cottage living room dressed for Christmas: a sparkling tree trimmed with baubles and a star stands by a snowman and gifts, a red plaid sofa faces a lit brick fireplace hung with garland, a roast dinner waits on the table beside a candlestick, and a white dog plays a little upright piano under a green wreath.

A little crafter's folklore: families say music by the fireplace on Christmas Eve keeps the house merry all year, and miniaturists like to give the dog one extra carol to play.

Why this kit: if you love Christmas, this festive room is full of holiday detail, a lovely December build that becomes a yearly decoration.

In the box: pre-cut wooden pieces, wallpaper and fabric pieces, miniature furniture and finely detailed accessories, built-in LED lights, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. Not included: batteries, glue and scissors.

Part of a cottage room series in the same peaked-roof shell: the Summer Terrace Bedroom, Cozy Cottage Living Room and Christmas Cottage Living Room line up into a little country house on a shelf. Build tip: fit and glue the wall panels into the shell first, add wallpaper and fabric before the furniture, place the smallest accessories with tweezers, and wire in the lights last.

Size: 21 x 12.5 x 15.5 cm (8.3 x 4.9 x 6.1 in). A festive mantel or shelf display, and a Christmas gift for crafters. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
