Moon Cat Golden Filigree Cat Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-709

Bead Moon Cat, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — an elegant cat worked in golden filigree sits proudly before a pale, cloudy moonlit sky, with swirling silver lace patterns and golden curls around the circle. Worked with over 11,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 15 colours, plus large beads, microbeads and 3 decorative pearls.

A little stitcher's folklore: in ancient Egypt cats were sacred to the moon goddess Bastet, protector of the home, and a cat was said to see what humans can't. Stitchers say a moon cat on the wall guards the house from night till morning.

Why this kit: if you love cats and elegant, jewellery-like detail, this design is a showstopper — the gold and silver shimmer in every light. A rewarding project for confident beginners and experienced beaders, and a perfect gift for cat lovers.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 11,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 15 colours, large No. 6 beads, microbeads, 3 decorative pearls, a beading needle, and instructions. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the golden cat first, then the silver swirls and moonlit sky, adding the pearls last.

Finished size: 32×32 cm (12.6×12.6 in). Elegant wall art and a gift for cat lovers.
