Bead a cup overflowing with joy with Cup of Happiness, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a folk-art teacup patterned in gold, magenta and purple bursts with bright stylised flowers and leaves, while a little bluebird flutters above, all on a dark canvas. Worked with over 8,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 20 colours.
A little stitcher's folklore: in folk embroidery a full vessel of flowers is a wish for abundance, and a bird brings good news into the home. Stitchers say a cup of happiness on the wall means yours will never run empty.
Why this kit: if you love bright folk-art colour, this design is pure joy — every flower is its own little pattern. It's a satisfying project for confident beginners and experienced beaders. A cheerful gift for tea lovers and anyone who needs a lift.
Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 8,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 20 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.
Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the teacup first, then the flowers, leaves and bird.
Finished size: 23.5×32.5 cm (9.25×12.8 in). Cheerful wall art and a thoughtful gift.
