Cornflowers in the Field Meadow Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-882

Bead a summer meadow with Cornflowers in the Field, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a long panorama of feathery purple and pink meadow flowers and fresh green grasses, painterly and airy against a soft, misty background. Worked with over 6,360 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 22 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Ukrainian and Slavic folk custom, meadow flowers were woven into summer wreaths for luck and love, and cornflowers were tucked into buttonholes by young men in love. Stitchers say a meadow on the wall keeps summer in the house all year.

Why this kit: if you love natural, wildflower style, this long panoramic piece is beautiful over a sofa or bed. It's a calming, satisfying project for confident beginners. A lovely gift for gardeners and nature lovers.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 6,360 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 22 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the flower heads first, then the grasses and stems.

Finished size: 52×23 cm (20.47×9.06 in). Panoramic floral wall art and a thoughtful gift.
