The Dream of a Journey to the East Cherry Blossom Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-905

Bead a dreamy Eastern landscape with The Dream of a Journey to the East, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — an arched wooden bridge crosses a still river between pagodas, framed by branches of pink cherry blossom, with misty mountains and birds in the distance. Worked with over 10,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 28 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Japan cherry blossom reminds us to enjoy beauty while it lasts, and a bridge stands for a safe passage to new places. Stitchers say this scene is a wish for a journey you'll never forget — even if it's only in your dreams for now.

Why this kit: if you love Asian landscapes and soft pink blossom, this is a serene, beautiful piece to bead. It's a big, absorbing project for beaders with some experience. A lovely gift for travellers and Japan lovers.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 10,000 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 28 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the blossom branches first, then the bridge, pagodas and water.

Finished size: 30×44 cm (11.81×17.32 in). Serene wall art for a bedroom or living room.
