Hero of the Christmas Night Nutcracker Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-926

Bead Hero of the Christmas Night, a Christmas bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a nutcracker soldier in a green hat, red jacket and gold trim stands guard at the centre of a folk-style pattern of golden swirls, red blooms and white snowflakes on a sage-green background. Worked with over 4,510 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads.

A little stitcher's folklore: in German tradition the nutcracker is a guardian who bares his teeth at evil spirits and brings good luck to the family. Stitchers say a nutcracker on the wall keeps watch over the house all through the holidays.

Why this kit: if you love classic Christmas and folk art, this nutcracker is festive and full of charm. A satisfying project for confident beginners and experienced beaders — and a treasured handmade Christmas gift.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 4,510 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the nutcracker first, then the golden swirls, flowers and snowflakes.

Finished size: 19.5×26 cm (7.68×10.24 in). Festive Christmas wall art you'll bring out every year.
