Floral Inspiration Iris Bouquet Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-928

Bead Floral Inspiration, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a tall bouquet of irises in pastel pink, lilac and soft blue with ruffled petals rises among sweeping leaves, against a luminous background of rainbow stained-glass curves. Worked with over 12,670 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads, plus Preciosa microbeads for fine detail.

A little stitcher's folklore: the iris is named after the Greek goddess of the rainbow, who carried messages between heaven and earth, and it has long stood for hope and good news. Stitchers say irises on the wall bring hope and happy messages into the home.

Why this kit: if you love luminous, painterly florals, this design glows with soft colour and is deeply absorbing to bead. A rewarding project for experienced beaders and ambitious beginners, and a stunning gift.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 12,670 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads, Preciosa No. 13 microbeads with a microbead needle, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the iris petals first, then the leaves and stained-glass background.

Finished size: 24×31.5 cm (9.45×12.4 in). Luminous floral statement art.
