Honey Motif Honeybee Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-950

Bead Honey Motif, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a large, detailed honeybee with a fuzzy golden body and translucent veined wings rests on an iridescent honeycomb glowing in amber, teal and smoky tones. Worked with over 6,930 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 21 colours, plus Preciosa microbeads for fine detail.

A little stitcher's folklore: bees were the old symbol of a hard-working, prosperous household — families even "told the bees" their news for luck. Stitchers say a honeybee on the wall brings sweetness, diligence and abundance.

Why this kit: if you love nature in close-up, this bee is realistic and mesmerising — the honeycomb shimmers like real honey. A rewarding project for confident beginners and experienced beaders, and a great gift for beekeepers.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 6,930 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 21 colours, Preciosa No. 13 microbeads with a microbead needle, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the bee's body and wings first, then the honeycomb.

Finished size: 27×38 cm (10.63×14.96 in). Striking nature wall art.
