Highland Belle Highland Cow Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-965

Bead Highland Belle, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a shaggy ginger Highland cow with long curved horns peeks out from a bouquet of pink peonies, roses and daisies, in soft watercolour style with gentle drips on a white background. Worked with 7,631 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads and microbeads in 27 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in farming tradition, a cow in the home stood for plenty, a full table and a gentle, nurturing spirit. Stitchers say a flower-crowned Highland cow brings abundance and warmth to the house.

Why this kit: if you love farmhouse style, this Highland cow is charming and full of personality. A large, rewarding project for confident beginners and experienced beaders, and a great gift for animal lovers and country homes.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, 7,631 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads and No. 13 microbeads in 27 colours, a microbead needle, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the cow's face and shaggy fringe first, then the horns and flowers.

Finished size: 26×39 cm (10.24×15.35 in). Farmhouse wall art.
