Legend Awakened Black Dragon Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-966

Bead Legend Awakened, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a fierce black oriental dragon with glowing orange eyes and spiky mane rises from swirls of smoky mist, against a cream and gold background of traditional patterns. Worked with 12,794 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads and microbeads in 17 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Chinese tradition the dragon is the most powerful bringer of luck, wisdom and success, and a dragon awakening means great things are about to begin. Stitchers say this dragon wakes up good fortune in your home.

Why this kit: if you love fantasy and Asian art, this tall dragon is dramatic and majestic. A large, rewarding project for experienced beaders, and a striking gift for dragon fans — especially anyone born in the Year of the Dragon.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, 12,794 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads and No. 13 microbeads in 17 colours, a microbead needle, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the dragon's head and eyes first, then the body, mist and patterned background.

Finished size: 30×60 cm (11.81×23.62 in). Tall statement art for a hallway or living room.
