Holiday Baking Gingerbread Man Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art ABT-033

Bead Holiday Baking, a two-sided Christmas ornament kit by Abris Art — a smiling gingerbread man framed by holly and red berries on one side, and a pile of iced gingerbread cookies on the reverse, on a square cream ornament. Worked with over 624 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads and finished with a ribbon for hanging.

A little stitcher's folklore: in old Europe, gingerbread baked at Christmas was a charm for sweetness and health through the year, and young women once baked gingerbread men hoping to meet their true love. Stitchers say a gingerbread man on the tree keeps the kitchen warm and the family sweet.

Why this kit: if you love cosy Christmas baking, this ornament is cheerful and quick to make — perfect for beginners. A sweet stocking filler, gift for a baker, or keepsake for the family tree.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with both sides of the design, a second canvas for finishing, over 624 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, sealant, decorative ribbon, and instructions with a symbol key.

Bead both sides following the symbol key, then join them with the finishing canvas and sealant and add the ribbon hanger.

Finished size: about 6.6 cm (2.6 in). A two-sided keepsake ornament for your tree.
