Bead Eerie Beauty, a two-sided Halloween ornament kit by Abris Art — a skeleton wrapped in blood-red roses on one side; on the reverse, a black raven perched among little skulls and roses. Worked with over 561 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 7 colours and finished with a ribbon for hanging.

A little stitcher's folklore: on the Day of the Dead, skeletons decorated with flowers celebrate loved ones with joy rather than fear, and the raven is the wise messenger between worlds. Stitchers say this eerie beauty honours memories and keeps spooky season fun.

Why this kit: if you love gothic-romantic Halloween decor, this ornament is dramatic and quick to make. Great for beginners, and a fun decoration for a Halloween tree, wreath or door handle.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with both sides of the design, a second canvas for finishing, over 561 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 7 colours, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, sealant, decorative ribbon, and instructions with a symbol key.

Bead both sides following the symbol key, then join them with the finishing canvas and sealant and add the ribbon hanger.

Finished size: about 6.6 cm (2.6 in) across. A two-sided keepsake decoration for Halloween.
